Throughout my years at Bard College I became hyper aware of what it meant to live a sustainable lifestyle. I was an art major and started using sustainable materials through different creative mediums. While I was at school, my brother Ben started a sustainable record label that emphasized digital sales and sustainable touring on a refurbished school bus that ran on veggie oil. Now I have a charity called Seed Street that focuses on urban hydro farming to deliver food deserts with fresh produce. My fiancé and I recently renovated our home and made sure we used repurposed materials. All in all, I've always lived very mindfully, supporting sustainability in every facet of my life, and I love how MAISON DE MODE is encouraging ethical and environmental practices in the fashion industry.
