With a focus on sustainability, Envelope1976 was launched in November 2018, in Oslo, Norway.  Envelope1976 focuses on creating season-less garments from good materials, which can be used in multiple ways. All items are Renewable, biodegradable and long-lasting.  The idea is that there is "no one way" to wear Envelope1976.   The collections consist of season-less garments, gender-neutral knit sweaters, seamless base garments, recycled swimsuits, bags in leftover fabrics, dresses and signature suits in linen, eco-vero, Japanese biodegradable cupro and lenzig viscose.  The garments are dyed in a chemical-free, vegan process. Inspired by the contrast between the cool Norwegian summer night and the harsh transition to cold winter. The color palette is inspired by the nature, - from shades of grey, white, black and light beige.  Behind the company is  Editor in chief, stylist and fashion profile Celine Aagaard and Pia Nordskaug, by the company Eco.logic. The founders wants to create, promote and implement more sustainable concepts in the textile industry with a focus on minimizing the brands footprints as much as possible.
